Equipment

  • Air-fryer
  • Meat Mallet (or Rolling Pin!)
  • Toothpicks
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  • Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound to ½ inch thick.
  • Layer each chicken breast with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese—roll them up tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  • Dip each roll in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs, ensuring they’re fully covered.
  • Place the rolled chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each one.
  • Cook for about 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (you want that cheese to ooze out a little!).
  • Let cool for a couple of minutes, remove the toothpicks, and enjoy your cheesy masterpiece!
