Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium potatoes peeled
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Parboil the potatoes in a large pot of boiling water for about 6-7 minutes.
  • Let the potatoes cool slightly, then grate them using a box grater.
  • Using towels or paper towels, squeeze out as much moisture as possible from the grated potatoes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Form the mixture into small cylinder shapes to create your tater tots.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place the tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  • Transfer the tater tots to the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 20-25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For an even crispier texture, you can double-fry the tater tots.
