- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or use chicken thighs
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix about 1 ounce
- ½ cup milk or heavy cream used to loosen the sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- chopped parsley or green onion optional, for garnish
Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
Arrange chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, milk or cream, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired and serve warm.
- Use low-fat cream cheese to reduce richness if needed.
