Air Fryer Lamb Kebabs are a zesty and handy take on the traditional kebabs, featuring ground lamb mixed with aromatic spices and herbs, then air-fried to perfection. They're ideal as a main dish or a party appetizer, super easy to make, and are absolutely delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 small onion grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint finely chopped
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon oil for brushing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 370°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, spices, herbs, breadcrumbs, and beaten egg. Mix just until combined.
  • Shape the mixture into 12 equal kebabs. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before skewering the kebabs.
  • Brush each kebab lightly with oil.
  • Arrange the kebabs in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch each other.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until browned and cooked through.
  • Serve immediately with a side of tzatziki or your preferred dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For the best flavour, marinate the lamb mixture for 30 minutes before shaping the kebabs.
  • Store any leftover kebabs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat kebabs in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes to maintain their crispiness before serving.
