1 pound ground lamb 1 small onion grated 2 cloves garlic minced 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon paprika ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped 2 tablespoons fresh mint finely chopped ¼ cup breadcrumbs 1 egg beaten 1 tablespoon oil for brushing
Preheat your air fryer to 370°F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, spices, herbs, breadcrumbs, and beaten egg. Mix just until combined.
Shape the mixture into 12 equal kebabs. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before skewering the kebabs.
Brush each kebab lightly with oil.
Arrange the kebabs in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch each other.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until browned and cooked through.
Serve immediately with a side of tzatziki or your preferred dipping sauce.
For the best flavour, marinate the lamb mixture for 30 minutes before shaping the kebabs.
Store any leftover kebabs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheat kebabs in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes to maintain their crispiness before serving.
