In a mixing bowl, combine chopped nuts, sugar, and cinnamon—set aside.
Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush with melted butter. Repeat this with about 6-8 sheets (buttering each layer) to create a base.
Sprinkle a layer of the nut mixture on top, then layer another phyllo sheet over it, brushing with butter again. Repeat until all the nuts are used, finishing with a layer of phyllo.
Cut the layered baklava into diamond shapes with your sharp knife—don’t skip this step, or you'll regret it!
Preheat your air fryer to 320°F.
Place the baklava in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches).
Cook for about 15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
While the baklava is cooking, combine honey and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil to create the syrup.
Once the baklava is done, drizzle the hot syrup over it and let it soak in.
Serve warm and watch it disappear! Enjoy every sweet, flaky bite!
