Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound shishito peppers
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ lemon for juicing
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 390°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the shishito peppers with olive oil and sea salt until well coated.
  • Place the peppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 6-8 minutes or until the peppers are blistered and slightly charred, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Remove from the air fryer and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
  • Serve immediately, optionally garnished with soy sauce, sesame seeds, or a sprinkle of garlic powder.

Notes

  • For an extra burst of flavor, drizzle the peppers with soy sauce before serving.
  • Store leftover shishito peppers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat peppers in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to regain their crisp texture before serving.
