Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1 small onion roughly chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons flour or chickpea flour for GF option
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  • In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Pulse until well combined but chunky.
  • Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the flour and baking powder.
  • Form the mixture into small balls or patties and place them in the air fryer basket.
  • Lightly spray the falafel with olive oil.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or stuffed in a pita with fresh veggies. Enjoy your air-fried falafel masterpiece!
