Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup dried minced onion
  • 1/4 cup beef bouillon granules low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine dried minced onion, beef bouillon granules, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and parsley flakes (if using).
  • Stir well to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Transfer the mixture to an airtight container or spice jar.
  • Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
  • Use about ¼ cup of the mix as a substitute for one store-bought onion soup mix packet.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, use vegetable bouillon instead of beef.
  • To reduce salt, use no-sodium bouillon or adjust the quantity.
  • This mix works great for French onion dip when combined with sour cream.
