Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 4 cups seafood or vegetable broth
  • ½ cup white wine or additional broth
  • 1 large lemon zested and juiced
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ teaspoon thyme fresh or dried

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the broth and white wine. Stir in lemon zest and juice, then bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add shrimp to the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and thyme. Stir in fresh parsley just before serving.
  • Ladle into bowls and serve warm with crusty bread or over rice.

Notes

  • For a richer broth, add a splash of coconut milk or heavy cream.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
