1 pound catfish fillets 1 cup cornmeal ½ cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Salt to taste Pepper to taste Olive oil or cooking spray
Pat the catfish fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
In a shallow dish, mix together cornmeal, flour, and Cajun seasoning.
Coat each catfish fillet thoroughly in the cornmeal mixture.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
Lightly drizzle or spray the coated fillets with olive oil to help with crispiness.
Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce or as desired!
Make sure not to stack the fillets; they need that hot air to circulate around them for perfect crisping!
If you have thicker fillets, feel free to add a couple of extra minutes to the cooking time—better safe than sorry! Enjoy!
