1 pound venison steak or chops 1 teaspoon salt or to taste ½ teaspoon ground black pepper or to taste 1 teaspoon garlic powder or to taste 1 teaspoon onion powder or to taste 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling
If marinating, mix together your preferred marinade ingredients and soak the venison in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
Pat the venison dry and season generously on all sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the meat to assist with crisping.
Place the venison in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
Cook for around 12-15 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness if desired.
Let the meat rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
For added crunch, you can coat the venison in breadcrumbs before air frying.
Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the cuts, so adjust accordingly for that perfect bite!
