1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided 3 cloves garlic minced ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes for heat ½ cup dry white wine or chicken broth 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped 8 ounces linguine pasta cooked and drained
Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
Add shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Pour in white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes, reducing slightly.
