  • Tongs To place and remove chicken
  • Mixing bowl For preparing sauce ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken thighs boneless, skinless
  • cup honey
  • cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Instructions
 

  • Add honey, soy sauce, garlic, water, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to the Instant Pot. Stir to combine.
  • Place chicken thighs into the sauce. Turn to coat evenly.
  • Seal the Instant Pot lid and cook on HIGH pressure for 10 minutes. Let pressure naturally release for 5 minutes, then quick release the rest.
  • Turn on sauté mode. Simmer the sauce for 3–5 minutes to thicken, stirring occasionally. Serve chicken with sauce spooned over top.

Notes

  • Add cornstarch slurry if you prefer a thicker sauce.
  • Use bone-in thighs with 2 extra minutes of cook time.
  • Serve with rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.
