1 ½ pounds brussel sprouts halved 4 slices bacon chopped 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 tablespoons real maple syrup Salt and pepper to taste A pinch of red pepper flakes optional for those into spice!

In a large bowl, toss the halved brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until they are coated evenly.

Add the roasted brussel sprouts to the skillet along with the bacon fat, stirring to coat.
Drizzle the maple syrup over the top, and continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they’re nicely glazed.
Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with the crispy bacon bits, and red pepper flakes if using.
