1pre-made pie crustor homemade dough rolled to fit your dish
6cupsthinly sliced applesFuji and Granny Smith work well
2tablespoonsgranulated sugar
¼cupbrown sugar
½teaspooncinnamon
Pinchof nutmegoptional
Juice of half a lemon
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and lemon juice—mix well and let it sit for about 10 minutes to get those juices flowing!
Roll out your pie crust and place it in a greased pie dish or loaf pan—make sure it’s snug because we want a happy little pie!
Fill the crust with the prepared apple mixture, making sure not to overload it—keep it classy, folks!
Cover the pie with another layer of crust, seal the edges, and cut a few slits on top to let the steam escape—no one wants an explosion in the air fryer!
Air fry at 320°F for about 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly—let it cool for a bit before serving, and then dig in, you pie master!
