Equipment

  • Air-fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Pie Dish or Loaf Pan

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust or homemade dough rolled to fit your dish
  • 6 cups thinly sliced apples Fuji and Granny Smith work well
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg optional
  • Juice of half a lemon

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and lemon juice—mix well and let it sit for about 10 minutes to get those juices flowing!
  • Roll out your pie crust and place it in a greased pie dish or loaf pan—make sure it’s snug because we want a happy little pie!
  • Fill the crust with the prepared apple mixture, making sure not to overload it—keep it classy, folks!
  • Cover the pie with another layer of crust, seal the edges, and cut a few slits on top to let the steam escape—no one wants an explosion in the air fryer!
  • Air fry at 320°F for about 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly—let it cool for a bit before serving, and then dig in, you pie master!
