- 4 flounder fillets about 6 ounces each
- 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice or to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika or to taste
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for coating
Pat the flounder fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Drizzle lemon juice over the fillets, then coat with panko breadcrumbs to achieve that lovely crunch.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
Arrange the fillets in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the crust is golden and the fish is cooked through.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
- If you prefer a lighter touch, you can spray the fillets with cooking spray instead of drizzling oil.
- For added flavour, marinate the flounder in lemon juice and spices for up to 30 minutes before cooking!
