Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound mushrooms cleaned and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning optional
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mushrooms, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Toss until well-coated.
  • If using, add the Parmesan cheese and give it another good toss.
  • Place the mushrooms in the air fryer basket, making sure they're in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the mushrooms are crispy and golden.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Cooking time may vary based on the size of your mushrooms and air fryer model.
  • For a vegan version, skip the Parmesan cheese.
  • Leftovers? Store in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for a couple of minutes to maintain crispiness.
