Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Pork Bites

Achieve ultimate deliciousness with these tips: to encourage Maillard browning for deeper flavor.

  • Marinate for Extra Flavor: If you have time, marinate the pork pieces for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors seep in.
  • Dry Rub: Pat the pork bites dry with paper towels before adding seasoning to ensure they get extra crispy, as removing surface moisture promotes Maillard browning.
  • Single Layer Cooking: Like with air fryer chicken wings for even crisping, make sure the pork bites are in a single layer to allow even cooking; see similar single-layer tips for crispy cauliflower bites for sides.
  • Preheat Air Fryer: Always preheat the air fryer to get those pork bites nice and crispy. Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for best results.
