Ingredients for Air Fryer Stuffed Salmon

Gather these delightful ingredients to make your stuffed salmon truly shine:

  • Salmon Fillets: Two fillets about 6 oz each, preferably with skin on for added flavor and a bit of crispiness.
  • Cream Cheese: 4 oz, because what’s better than melty, creamy deliciousness?
  • Spinach: A handful of fresh spinach gives you that vibrant green pop and some healthy vibes.
  • Garlic: One clove, minced — because garlic makes everything taste fancy!
  • Lemon Juice: A squeeze or two, for a zesty zing.
  • Dill: Fresh or dried, to add that nice herbal note (or swap it out for your favorite herb).
  • Salt & Pepper: To taste, because bland food is a definite no-go.

See? Super simple and totally drool-worthy!

Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Stuffed Salmon

Want your stuffed salmon to have that WOW factor? Keep these tips in mind:

  • Prep the filling first: Mix up your cream cheese, spinach, garlic, lemon juice, and dill in a bowl before stuffing. Get that cream cheese nice and fluffy!
  • Don’t overstuff: It’s tempting, but if you pack too much filling in, the salmon could burst during cooking. A little stuffing goes a long way!
  • Air fryer spacing: Just like a dance party, nobody likes to be squished. Make sure you give those salmon fillets plenty of room to breathe in the air fryer.

Variations and Substitutions

Feel like mixing things up? Here are a few fun variations and substitutes you can try:

  • Crab-Stuffed Salmon: If you want to add some luxury, fold in some crab meat to your stuffing for a seafood twist.
  • Pesto Salmon: Swap out the filling for basil pesto and add sun-dried tomatoes for a Mediterranean flair.
  • Cheesy Spinach: For extra gooeyness, mix in some shredded mozzarella or parmesan into your filling.

Serving Suggestions

Once that lovely salmon is air-fried to delicious perfection, here’s how to serve it up like a pro:

  • With a Side Salad: Pair it with a light salad for a fresh and healthy option that won’t weigh you down.
  • Mashed Potatoes or Quinoa: Serve alongside some creamy mashed potatoes or a fluffy quinoa pilaf for a complete meal.
  • On a Bed of Zoodles: Feeling fancy? Nestle it on some spiralized zucchini for a low-carb twist!
