Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Baked Oats

  • They fit nicely in the air fryer basket, the same basket you'll use for crispy air fryer wings (about 3-4 small ramekins fit in a 6-quart air fryer).
  • Grease lightly: Lightly grease your ramekins to prevent sticking and make cleaning easier with a neutral oil or nonstick spray.
  • Mix-ins and toppings: Customize your baked oats with your favorite mix-ins or toppings, such as fresh berries, a sprinkle of nuts, or a drizzle of nut butter, or pair with air-fryer baked apple for a warm topping.

Variations and Substitutions

Out of maple syrup? Substitute it with honey, agave syrup, or a sweetener of your choice, or enjoy a side from moist cornbread variations that stay tender (use about 2 tablespoons to match the sweetness of maple syrup).

Vegan option: Replace the egg with a flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 3 tablespoons water) and use non-dairy milk.

Want a protein boost? Add a scoop (about 20-25 grams) of your favorite protein powder to the mix.
